
Charles H. Baumberger, a founding partner of the firm Rossman, Baumberger, Reboso & Spier, P.A., is one of South Florida's most experienced trial lawyers.
During his more than 30 years of practice, he has recovered numerous multi-million dollar jury awards and settlements for his clients. He has won professional distinction for his representation of plaintiffs in medical malpractice, defective products, premises liability, railroad, aviation, and other substantial liability cases.
Chuck has authored articles in legal publications and has often served as seminar lecturer before state and local trial lawyer groups.
He has served as chairman of the Trial Lawyers Section of The Florida Bar, president of the Dade County Bar Association, president of the Miami chapter of the American Board of Trial Advocates, and president of FLABOTA, the state organization of ABOTA.
He also has also been either a member or officer of the following: Academy of Florida Trial Lawyers, Dade County Trial Lawyers Association, the American Bar Association, American Board of Trial Advocates, Association of Trial Lawyers of America, Southern Trial Lawyers Association, Florida Lawyers Action Group, Trial Lawyers for Public Justice, the American College of Trial Lawyers, and the International Society of Barristers.
Chuck has been a member of the Florida Bar since 1966 and is admitted to practice in the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 11th Circuit.
He is Board Certified as a Civil Trial Specialist by The Florida Bar and in Civil Trial Advocacy by the National Board of Trial Advocacy. He is also listed in Who's Who in American Law. His peers have regularly voted him among South Florida's top lawyers in the South Florida Legal Guide.
He has participated in several task forces, which have focused on insurance, medical, and legal issues.
He graduated from Vanderbilt University in 1963 and received his J.D. degree from the University of Florida College of Law in 1966.
Chuck and his wife, Molly, have two children, Peter and Charles, Jr.
