Jarrett's L Deluca practice focuses exclusively on personal injury and business tort litigation, including, medical malpractice, automobile and trucking accidents, general negligence and wrongful death, mass tort litigation, product liability actions (including injuries and death stemming from the use of tobacco products), legal malpractice, business disputes, commercial fraud, and claims arising under the Federal Employers Liability Act for injured railroad workers.
He is currently on the Young Lawyers Board of Directors for the Florida Justice Association, as well as a member of the Miami-Dade Justice Association, the American Association for Justice, the Miami-Dade Bar Association and the American Bar Association. Jarrett also works with St. Thomas University School of Law where he coaches and teaches law students on the St. Thomas Trial Team.
Before joining Rossman, Baumberger, Reboso, Spier and Connolly, P.A. in 2008, Jarrett worked with a full-service civil litigation firm in Fort Lauderdale, Florida where he litigated matters concerning corporate shareholder disputes, breaches of contract, land use disputes, local government authority, real estate foreclosures, patent and copyright infringement, and other complex commercial disputes.
In 2003, Jarrett graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Florida and received his Bachelor of Science degree in Finance. He then earned his J.D. from the University of Florida Levin College of Law. While in lawschool, Jarrett was a member of the University of Florida Trial Team and Moot Court Team, tried multiple criminal cases as a Certified Legal Intern for the Public Defender's Office, interned as a law clerk in the civil division of the Fifteenth Judicial Circuit Court in West Palm Beach, Florida, and was given the award for Best Oral Advocate by the University of Florida.
Jarrett is also admitted to the U.S District Court for the Southern District of Florida and the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Florida. He is a South Florida native and currently lives in Miami Beach.
