Commitment. Diligence. Integrity.
Filing an appeal is when you petition a higher court (District Court of Appeals, U.S. Court of Appeals, and even the Supreme Court) to review the decision of a lower court and to hear arguments as to why the decision should be overturned, augmented, or dismissed.
The appeals process is not something every attorney is adequately equipped, or experienced enough to take on. But, our team of attorneys has extensive experience in a wide range of appeals cases. Also of note, all but one of our partners is admitted to at least one appeals court, some even admitted to argue cases before the Supreme Court of the United States.
After a jury verdict, any party may appeal the decision to a higher court in an effort to overturn the jury’s determination. At RBRS, we don’t stop fighting for our clients when an appeal is taken. We are uniquely qualified to continue to defend our client’s rights at the next level.
Rossman, Baumberger, Reboso & Spier is also available to take on appeals for, and provide trial support to, other law firms.
