Evan began his practice as a defense lawyer at the largest defense firm in Florida, where he was named partner. During this time, he represented individuals and companies accused of causing catastrophic injury and death due to automobile negligence, premises liability, product liability, and medical malpractice. This experience provided Evan with invaluable insight into how large businesses and insurance companies defend and attempt to devalue legitimate claims.

He later transitioned into representing individuals who were seriously injured or killed due to the fault of another, including practicing at one of Florida’s largest personal injury firms, where he was also named partner. Currently, in addition to the aforementioned practice areas, a significant portion of Evan’s practice involves representing injured or deceased railroad workers covered under the Federal Employers’ Liability Act.
